Which sewing machine is the best?
Question:Can anyone tell me which sewing machine is the best to have a Singer or Brother model.

Either are fine but, if you got the extra cash buy Viking...Love mine.
there is nothing like a Singer - even Martha Stewart endorses Singer machines!!

Singer, they are the best in sewing machines, they last it seems like forever ... I have my grandmothers .. she had it for years then my mother had it now it's mine. Great machine
My Girlfriend was really "singing" when she got a Singer from me for Christmas 2006.so I guess she's really happy with that brand name!
If your talking about a new machine then the Brother is better. (they are all plastic so it doesn't much matter. As far as older machines the definately Singer is better. I am a sewing machine tech.
