How much does it typically cost to clear land?
Question:Trying to clear 2 acres of land and I've heard of companies that buy timber.not sure how we should approach this without getting charged an arm and a leg. Located in Goochland County.

If you have timber worth buying then you make money. But on 2 acres You probably wont have much. Also they leave a mess behind them and you have to clean it up.
There is no easy way. I would rent a bull dozer and clear it myself, that's the underbrush. Who ever you rent the doz er from will deliver it to your property and give you a brief tutorial on how to use it.I realize that you put what county you live in, but God only knows where on earth Goochland county is at. Please add the state and I will double check your question and try to find someone who buys timber
