There is a mother bird sitting on a nest of eggs in my plant. She has been there 4 days now-what should I do?

Question:

Answers:
LEAVE HER ALONE---leave the NEST alone---do NOT TOUCH THE EGGS and do NOT go near the babies when they are BORN. birds tend to take care of themselves. maybe take a few pictures with your camera so you'll have them, but DO NOT TOUCH the nest or the birds or the eggs... the parents will NOT feed the babies if they smell human scent on them or near the nest.

just leave it alone the bird doesn't need your help. enjoy this little bit of nature.
Leave her be if you can, or buck up and get rid of them and her. Its not an easy thing to do but sometimes necessary.
I hope you have kids! They will be thrilled.
Don't spook them--be discrete when watering.
Also, watch out when the fledglings get bigger--they'll fly too soon if you scare them.
Good luck! God has visited you.
Stay away from it, otherwise she may leave them to die if you intrude. My sister has one in a box of shirts in her garage. Mother bird chirps like crazy when ever she gets near it.
leave her alone. enjoy watching nature take its course.
NOTHING when her eggs hatch and the babies are big enough to be on there own she will leave. THEN and ONLY THEN you can remove the nest, unless you enjoy having a mother bird and babies there. if so then leave the nest. If you touch the eggs or even the nest the mother will abandon the eggs.
depends on what type of bird but generally you just wait and soon there'll be little birds that the mother bird will need to feed and teach to fly. i love this little miracle of birth of living creatures. soooo enjoy!
