How many of you have already changed over to compact fluorescent lighting?
Question:
Answers:
I have - I use the coil light bulbs in almost every socket.
I did over a year ago. EVERY single lightbulb in my house is energy efficient. I took advantage of some sales where I stocked up on them and by gawlee, you DO save money using those things!
in the process of doing that, but have to wait until the existing bulbs are spent...can't waste money, even tho it's better for the environment
Not me...some of my lamp shades go ON the bulb themselves.
I might replace others when i run out...but as it stands, I have about 50 light bulbs in reserve so it won't be any time soon. (I have 50 in reserve...I got in on a good sale a couple years ago)
I probably will once they are all gone.
I have been using them since I first saw them. Tried one and was happy so I switched all my bulbs to CFL's.
I have them in most of my lamps. I've been switching over as the bulbs burn out. Just put them in my kitchen fixture, which has 5 sockets. with the flourescents, its only using 65 watts, as opposed to 300, so thats a good savings. :-)
I’m working on it. I’m waiting for my existing bulbs to burn out and use up the reserves that I have on hand. There is no need to be wasteful and toss the existing bulbs. Any new purchases are the energy efficient bulbs. I estimate that in about a year, I’ll be 100% energy efficient lighting in my home.
There is no fluorescent lighting in my home nor would there ever be!!
I have already changed most of my fixtures and plan to do the rest, as well.
Have only got on or two of the bulbs. Here they cost as much as 6 bucks depending on what you are getting.
Ask Al Gore that.
Not all the way yet.
Peace.
I am in the process. All burned out light bulbs are being replaced with fluorescent ones. I wish we all would take these little steps to help in some way to secure the future.
