For my birthday I want a cleaning service to come & mop all my tile floors. Do they do it on hands & knees or?

Question:by using a mop?

Answers:
I suppose you could ask them to do it on hands and knees for a deeper clean. I know my mom forbid a mop for that reason.

in this day in age they use power vac's, toots.
They use a mop
they use a mop, but they generally do a good job. we used marry maids.
It depends on if you live in the South...
I use to clean and no i use a mop, i still clean but only my house i no longer clean residential homes
mop, but i'm sure if you pay extra you can make them do it naked on their hands and knees. They might even use a buffer.
Is this some kind of sexual fantasy for you?? Very strange question, but I guess if you wanna know, what else are you gonna do but ask.
As for the answer, I don't know man. Sorry. Good luck!
You can request either type of cleaning. Many businesses (especially small, locally-owned) will create custom services for you based on your requests, lifestyle and home. If a cleaning services does not offer something you are interested in, check at another service. You may also want to check flooring companies as some offer this type of service as well (i.e. special occasion or maintenance deep cleaning and polish for tile, wood, or stone floors.)
Tell me your kidding, Right?...Hands and knees, Honey this is not the 1800's. Can you imagine how crippled these workers would be, talk about home owner's insurance, yowl! We do live in an industrial world, Thank God!
But, I do have to say that my first thought was along the same train of thought as aen935.
Oh, by the way... Steam Cleaning is great for tile floors!
I've used several cleaning services (at least 5) and most did mop on hands and knees. That's not to say they did a wonderful job, however. I found that they did a pretty decent job on the first cleaning (to impress a new customer?) and it went downhill from there. I'm sure you could ask them to use a bucket and rag rather than a mop.

I gave up the cleaning services when I found an individual who could clean far more thoroughly than the services. You might want to consider looking for an individual. But if you want just a one-time thing, a service probably is alright. Be warned, though, they charge a lot for the initial cleaning. Good luck--and happy b-day!
