About how long should it take to fill my pool.?

Question:I bought a 5,000 gallon pool. Could anyone tell me about how long it should take to be filled with water??

A long time, it really seems like forever! I am not sure the size we had, but it took about half a day at least.

A garden hose will discharge up to 6½ gallons of water per minute. That being said - it should take you 769.23 minutes, or, 12.8 hours.
