Answers:
troops made me think army, "the barracks"?? or if you live in a nice area i thought of "the great escape"? or maybe watch the great escape cos im sure there were some nice sounding village names in the film for ideas , would be interesting when people ask where the house name came from.
its got to be somthing army related.

Call it what you want, but for gods sake don't remove the number, any delivery man coming to your house will have a very bad day if you do.
Ellechim dluow eb na gnitseretni eno (would be an interesting one)

Don't base the name around the assumption that you will always remain five. Can't be a solid plan!
sandhurst, home for leaders of troops
Call it 'Chambre de troupes', or if thats too French, try a simple 'The Troops' as this is not clearly a surname like 'The Smiths' or something like that, it's more of a solid and easy to remember house name, infact I LIKE IT!
THE TROOPS
Troops Trumps.
Top Troops.
Tree top troops - I like this one.
Five troop - in french! Dont know if that would sound good, but it may.
Best of luck in the new home you must be really excited.
Take care.
I don't think it would look good on an envelope with a house name like your own name, go for something like highlands, highfields, a sort of go with the flow name that feels fresh and natural.
cinqterratroop
cinq = five in french
terra = earth in Latin
Troop = your name
Troops Haven.
Troops Cottage.
Troops House.
troops lodge
What about having the surname "Troops" in Latin.
Here are a list of different meanings in Latin for that surname.
This is what we did for our house name, and people always asked what it meant and thought it was unique.
I hope this helps ;-)

I named my house ,"Hootersville" Your description made me think of something like the Big Bubble that Glenda The Good Witch floated into Oz with. How about ,"Oz"? or The Bubble? You could be The Wizard! Green Acres? The Ponderosa? TV? No, I never watched TV while growing up. Oh by the way, congratulations! I'm sure your very proud,and you should be.Bye How about "F" Troop?
Cinque Troops , The Barracks
Abbasarmy (Supertroopers) , Troopers Rest
Thistledous , Weirheer
Sodom Hall , Haydown
Fort Army
since there are 5 troops, you need a headquater .
