I am so sick of these flying insects!! Can anyone tell me what to do about them?
Question:I am sick to death of fruitflies, blackflies, and mosquitos!! My husband goes in and out of the house a lot, b/c he smokes outside, and I think that is part of how they get in. I seem to constantly be trying to keep them from flying up my nose. (EEK!). I try to kill them, and if I miss they miraculously vanish like little Houdini's. It is starting to drive me MAD!
Answers:
string cheesecloth across an electric fan. The little buggers get sucked in through the back and trapped in between the cloth and the fan exhaust. I've done it before, it doesn't get them all, but it helps.

Yes there is a way to get rid of them and heres how.
You must wash everything down with bleach really well, I mean well!!!!
Anywere you see these little buggers land thats were to wash, in other words, all surffaces verticale or horazontale.
Just remember bleach, they will start to dissaper just as fast as they appered.
Mosquitoes breed around and in still water. Gnats are attracted to the same, trash, and some plants. Make sure when your husband goes out his ashtray is away from the house. Also keep your trash cans as far away as possible maybe even wash them out in case they are breeding in there. Besides that maybe you need to invest in new screens. In a pamphlet the health department handed out for mosquitoes it recommends to keep up with these around the yard... "dispose of tires, clean your gutters, keep water from ponding, install yellow bug lights, fix leaking faucets, clean bird baths, add fish or a recirculation pump to ponds, and repair screens." Good luck, that sounds awful!
i guess ur rite these insects must be coming because of ur husband coming in n going out..
u can take two precautions.
1>ask ur husband to smoke in the bathroom or some ventilated place or in a room which has got exhaust fan...
2>as soon as ur husband comes in spray some insect killer.
