When was glass first put in windows?

Question:

Answers:
The Roman Empire “industrialized” the glass industry by constructing numerous furnaces which increased the production and quality of glass. By 100 AD, Roman architects were also using glass in their window making. Though of low optical quality, these windows allowed light into otherwise dark homes.
