Cross-pollenation of corn varieties?

Question:There is both "feed corn" for animal fodder and "sweet corn" for human ingestion growing nearby each other in my neighborhood. Probably less than 20 feet apart.
What are the chances of them cross-pollenating each other? And would the "sweet corn" be worth eating?

Answers:
anytime you grow corn their is a chance. but i wouldn't worry and you should be able to eat the sweet corn ( hope its peaches & cream thats good) i have been growing corn for 16 years and i have only seen it a few times

Usually the sweet corn will not cross pollinate with field corn. You can have cross pollination in the color of the corn. If you have yellow and white planted, then you are likely to have some that is bi color.
Eat it and enjoy it.
