My juniper bush is all yellow and brown, can I cut it back to 4-6 inches and hope for the best?

Question:the bush is in a sun to shade spot and also in well drained soil....

Answers:
I'm sorry but I think you are going to need to find a replacement plant. junipers have a certain grub that can kill em and that is what it sound like you have. How long have you had the plant? contact the grower you purchased this plant from and ask them for a possible solution. Trim and try - what's it going to hurt. Good luck!

Juniper likes to be in soil that is not too dry or acidic. If the bush is already yellow it might be too late, but you can try to cut it back and make sure it gets enough water. Consult a plant nursery to find out what fertilizer you can use on it.
