We NEED mattress recommendations..PLEASE OUR BACKS ARE KILLING US!?
Question:OK, so 3 years ago my husband and I bought our first big furniture purchase (it was our wedding gift to ourselves). We bought a very large, expensive and beautiful new mattress with matching boxspring! We spent over a thousand dollars on this large piece of crap! 3 years later - we CANT WAIT to buy a new mattress! We wake up with HORRIBLE back pain and neck pain EVERY MORNING! We are only 28.. this type of pain should not be ours yet! Anyway... I am very afraid of spending a lot of money again on a new mattress and would like some recommendations about them. Has anyone heard of Bragada Crowne Mattress? Our other choices are Sleep innovatin novaform, Sealy true form, and serta perfect sleeper. If anyone could me a recommendation about their favorite bed that would be very helpful AND healing! Thanks!

Did you turn it & flip it on a regular basis?
Actually, all of the mattresses in our house are SELECT COMFORT SLEEP SYSTEMS...
Ours is an Expanded Queen 9000, each of the boys have Full sized 7000 & the guest rooms are Expanded Queen 7000.
We should be good for the next 20 years!
We recently bought a Sterns and Foster pillow top we are very happy with, $1,000 won't touch a Sterns though, they start about $2k, but do go on sale.
What ever brand you buy, make sure it's extra firm. Slouchy and soft ones will put a kink in your whole body because it doesn't support you. Firm is the way to go!
Firm talalay latex with a wool fleece pad . . place 4' by bed width 1/4" thick wood panel over base toward foot end (not under shoulder area) for more pushback support.

There is no one "perfect" mattress. Different firmnesses are appropriate for different people.
Many mattress retailers offer a service which determines which firmness is best for your back. I would never buy another mattress without taking this test first.
There are even mattresses that you can purchase that are different on both sides of the bed in case your spouse needs different support than you do.
Compare whether boxspring (springs with a thin layer of foam on top) or 100% foam (which can be memory foam, but doesn't need to be) is best for you.
