How do you get rid of large animal carcasses without odor?

Question:Hello a large deer recently died in my yard and I would like to get rid of it as soon as possible (no trash pickup for three days). I am very concerned it will smell up my yard, what is a good way to eliminate this carcass without odors? I would like to have no trace of this carcass in my yard before a big dinner party I am having tomorrow.

Answers:
Normally when I have some unwanted carcasses laying around, I freeze them in plastic bags and cut them into pieces for easy transport. Not bloody nor smelly. If you don't have a big enough freezer, cut it up before freezing. Nice places to dump are swamps and landfills.

a big garbage bag!
cook it for the party!
I see 2 choices-
1- dig a hole next to it and roll it in and cover it up.
2- load it on a truck and haul it to the landfill.
Do you have a compost bin? Throw it in with a bunch of woodchips, and it will be gone in a month, with no smell at all. Use enough chips to cover it all around, about 2 feet thick. Or bury it really deep in your flower beds!!
Oh, yikes! Call your city/township animal control/removal people. There shouldn't even be a fee for it. Look in your phone book in the government (blue pages) section under animal for your city or county.

Best of luck with your dinner party.
around here you would call the game commision and they would remove it...
you're son just committed suicide and your throwing a big dinner party and worried about a deer smelling up your yard? Yup you are a damn sicko.
