An odd question...?
Question:Okay, this may seem like an odd question, but it's been bothering me.
In my bedroom, my 2 windows are facing East. When I go to sleep the night before, I leave my window open so my room stay cool. It'll remain cool in the morning as well. However, when I arrive back home from school, it'll always be incredibly hot in there. I also have black curtains over my windows to keep the light out in the morning.
Any ideas on how I can keep my room cool during the day without much trouble?
Answers:
The black curtains absorb the sun light and heat the room. Get light colored curtains or line the ones u have with a light fabric so they reflect the light instead of absorb it.
Close the windows and turn on the air conditioning. ;)
Keep the window closed during the day. By a fan or an AC and open all the doors in the house. The trick is to keep the cool air circulating. Put a fan in your room blowing away from the door and towards a corner. This will keep air circulating in you room and house. Also if you have an installed AC, make sure the vent is not covered.
Use light colored curtains to reflect the heat
