What is best all-around sewing machine?
Question:
Answers:
I agree, it does depend on what you are sewing. I personally would not recommend a Singer, many of my sewing friends have had alot of problems with them. I personally have a Kenmore and it's a real workhorse. It only cost around $200 and I have used it daily for the past two years to make clothing for my business. If you want something less expensive Brother makes a decent machine for around $100. If you have alot of money to spend Viking makes some dreamy machines. Good Luck!
I guess it would depend on what you are going to sew. Clothes or something more heavy duty. I have used several over the years, Singer seems to still be the best all around, but mine is older. The best I ever had was a Pffaf with a "walking foot" attachment, but it was a heavy duty machine.
