Keep colors from running on new washcloths-been washed once, still bleed.?

Question:

Answers:
When the dying process is completed, the item is placed in a "mordant" . I guess sometimes the factory has not done a good job on that step.
It sets the dye and ensures that it will not run. You can use vinegar or salt solution for that purpose. Then just wash with like colours in cool or cold water after that.

You can soak your bright colors in cold water and vinegar. This will set the colors. Then wash the item seperately. After that you should have no problems.
Try adding some salt to wash
If cold water don't set the colors, then add salt to cold water.
