I have green algae growing on my cement porch, help!?

Question:Our porch in our backyard is cement and there is this gross green algae that has covered it. What can I do to clean it and kill it?

Answers:
Hi Anna,

Mix a solution of 50% bleach and 50% water. Spray it until t is thoroughly wet, let it set 15 minutes and wash off with your hose using the most forceful spray you can get.

Repeat the next day if necessary. The bleach will kill the algae and it will release from the cement.

Ummmm.you could just get like a bug killing spray and kill it or you could always just geta knife. I suggest if it was my porch i would go to city mill or home depot and ask theguys over there on what to do.
Bleach will do the job.
