What do you think is a fair price??
Question:I was just curious what you think is a fair price to clean a house?? I am responsible only for dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, etc... No laundry or doing the dishes... The homeowner still takes care of that..
The house is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, split level with a completely done family room downstairs, for which I also clean...
And just for information,,,,,the house belongs to my sister...if that makes a difference..

I think working for your sister can be problematic. If there is a situation it could put your relationship under strain. Just be aware of that. My sister did some work for me and she and her husband did a horrible job and kind of fudged on the deal and I felt obligated to pay her. It was an awful situation.
That said...I had a simiar house and was charged $220 for the initial cleaning (dirtier before the weekly cleaning). That was for two people to clean which made it go faster. Then after that I paid $75 every two weeks. I'd say, between $75-100 per week. That's a lot of work but you should provide all your own cleaning supplies.
Seriously think of the implications should something come up missing or they not like the way things are done. Make a really good agreement and put it in writing so there is no confusion later. You might think you don't have to with family but that makes it more important. Good luck.
I have a housekeeper in once a week. She dusts, sweeps, washes the floors and cleans the washroom in a two-hour stint each Tuesday (late morning.) I pay her $20/hour. (Sometimes I "woose out" and have her do the dishes if she has the extra time, and I then treat her to lunch at our favorite cafe around the corner!)
