HELP MICE in my attic!!!?
Question:There are mice in my attic. We have tried mouse traps with peanut butter but the ants are getting to it before the mice. We have caught two but there are still more. How can we catch the mice before the ants eat the bait.

Well…..I would start by spraying for the ants. You can call in a professional and have your house sprayed for the ants, then use traps for the mice. I live in a very rural area and mice in the attic are just a fact of life. I hope to one day find where the heck they are getting in and seal it up. I use cheese in my traps, since my mice seem to not like the peanut butter, and I spray my house for ants once a month.

they never run across a roon-they always follow the perimiter of the wall using their whiskers

Large glue traps with Cheetos or peanut butter in the middle. The only thing is that they don't die instantly, but it is very affective. You can also spray Raid around the traps to keep the ants out of the bait.
My mom said that when she was a kid, they had rats in the attic. They took their toughest cat and put him up there for a day. He came back down the next day fully satisfied. No more rats in the attic!
