UK only - what is the true cost of selling and buying a house?

Question:We are considering moving house soon. Aside from the selling price we get for our current house and the cost of the new house, what are the realistic costs involved in a move like this? (I am thinking solicitors, stamp duty etc) Has anyone done this recently and could they give me a rough idea of the extra costs involved?

ps. Our house is worth about £140,000, and the next we estimate at around £235,000
