A plant name that sounds like Roo-Bahck Or roo bash. used in cooking?

Question:It sounds like I think roo back Ru barsh somehting like that Its a flower plant that...grows really fast..someone looks like a lage cabbage leaf. I can be used in cooking..it sprouts many cabbage leaf looking like leaves. It says close to the floor. its doesn't really have a stem that much... I think it blooms a flower im not sure.

Rhubarb. We used to grow it every year when I lived in Wisconsin. You can only eat the stalk (kind of looks like big reddish celery). The leaves are poisonous. Makes a great pie or crumble.
