If it was colder outside a refridgerator, than it was set to inside, would it heat the inside?
Question:Or would it just stop working when it got below the thermostat setting inside?
Can a regular fridge reverse cycle?
Thanks for the answers.

A refrigerator only cools. However, there are doors on the refrigerators. So, normally you would not leave the door open long enough to cool it down so much to where it would have to heat.
If it did get too cold inside, however, it would still send in the set-temperature air. In a way, it would be heating, because it's sending in warmer air than what it is inside it then. It would continue to do that until it was "warm" enough for it to resume normal function.
Does that make sence? I hope so.. :)
The Temp inside should just be a bit warmer then outside.
if the ambient temp. is lower than fridge setting the fridge won't run! what's the point?
in time the inside will get the same temp as the outside.
but if it is that cold put your stuff out side and use the fridge for a filing cabinet
