How do I get rid of squawking birds?

Question:We have birds that squawk at our bedroom window from 3 a.m. - 5 a.m. It is really starting to hinder my sleep. I'm afraid there's really no solution, but I'd love it if anyone had any ideas! (We do have one big tree outside our window.)

Answers:
I think Youssef's idea is the most reasonable. Only idiots just go out and shoot them and with the environmental situation upon us it seems a less Neanderthal approach is needed!

Go out there and see what it is they like so much in the first place! I dare you! Go stand out there and have a word with them LOL! Have some fun with this it is very therapeutic trust me! LOL! Really!

It might be something obvious. If this is your place and you own it maybe you can remove whatever it is like a favourite tree.no, don't remove the tree Put the fake owl on the favorite spot in the tree!Yah! Then, plant something they will like somewhere else around the place. That actually works very well. A little research. You're not lazy are you! So you are up for the job!

You know... they will move on if you work it out with them. Birds are not unreasonable people, unlike some of our human neighbours. When was the last time you had to call the police to come because of a bird?! HMMMMMmm!

So be grateful and get back to us with your results.

Peace and harmony! Ahhhhh.

smoke em out
Try an Owl statue on the eave. Birds ar escared of Owls.
chop the tree down or shoot the birds!
Lay some bird seed in the next street.
but them food somewhere which they can c and @ the same time away from ur house
Get a cat and let it go after the birds. Or put a bird feeder out there. If their mouths are full of seed they do less squawking.
a Klock 9mm Semi Auto . 12 shot clip... That will shut them up !
If you are willing to stay up one night while the brids are chriping you might want to try spraying them with a water gun. You could also try spraying the tree with something or prun the branch that the birds sit on. I hope this helps!

shoot them with a bee bee gun
Play a recording of a hawk or falcon. that ought to scare them off.

Are you living in the northeast of the US?

Sounds like you are harboring a colony of Quaker Parrots. They are also known as Monk Parrots or Monk Parakeets. Native to South America and the surrounding islands, these guys have been known to establish noisy, profuse colonies in the northeast (CT, most well-known).They have naturalized in many areas in the south. These all are escaped pets.

Monk parakeets build sociable colonies in trees, where they are quite comfortable.

Don't kill them. Contact your local Federal Wildlife and Fisheries office, and ask them for help and suggestions.

I know this sounds crazy, but, I would LOVE to have these special visitors in my yard. You are lucky.

Bird lovers have been known to "flock" to the home in CT. where these guys have set up their gorgeous and unusual settlement.

Hope this helps and inspires you as a new nature lover.
