Hi ,I believe that depends on where you live. In north America the opening between your cabinets needs to be 2' wide. if thats what your asking. As for the water supply most people install a tee under their kitchen sink (because it's usually the closest and most accessible place to get hot water . now an alternative to cutting your pipes and installing a tee is a shutoff valve that allows two supply lines to be hooked up at one time.If you didn't get a drain kit w/ your dishwasher then you need to pickup one. That will hook into your garbage disposal or into a drain made for that purpose. Oh there is a plug in the garbage disposal so you need to knock it out w/ a screwdriver and hammer.
