Anyone have home kits built?

Question:Hi I was wondering if anyone have any experiences with home kits and are they worth it? and if so, where can I look up for inexpensive home kits on websites? thank you!

I was a professional developer for a short period of time I only did a few modular homes I am not sure if this is what you are talking about. but I am guessing that it may be somehting close to it. The modular homes turned out preety well however they have yet to stand the test of time meaning they have not been on the market long enogh to see how they will do under normal and abnormal weather and wear and tear. So far I have not heard of any horror stories but I have not been in the industry in the last 8 years so I would do some research before I invest my hard earned cash, l,ike how do they respond to mold and also remember the three little pigs. A home is an investment of your lifetime make sure it is a worthwhile investment that is going to last. I live in a brick house and I only live in brick houses. The may be a litte more expensive but they also also low on maintenance and with stand fire, water, wind, etc.. damage better than anything else out there. Just remember the story about the three little pigs. Cheaper is not always the best in the long run.
