What do I do if a frog has made a home in my toilet bowl?

Question:It's a very cute green tree frog and it actually is living in the bowl itself (not the cistern). If I approach it, it swims up into the S-bend, so I can't catch it. I don't want to pee (etc) on it, and I don't know if flushing will hurt it. Any suggestions from experience to re-locate it?

i think ..u should try to brinsg it out by giving it some house flies...i really dunno if ti will work..but try it..then u can keep mit in your backyard...

Call A plumber!
Time to have a frog funeral :)
Hmm...that's a tricky one...I would lay in wait by the toilet until he comes back out and then block his way back down the s-bend with some kind of thin sheet of card board or something flat and plastic. I'd then get a little net and scoop him up and put him into a different thing of water and then take him to a pond or creek near by and let him go.

He doesn't have much to eat...in the way of bugs in your toilet...so he'll strave to death...
Call Animal Control. Frogs are slimy bags of germs. Eew
that is so strange..i don't know how i would get him out I am afraid of frogs. i think i would prob have a frog funeral too like the earlier answerer suggested.
Actually if you flush it, it goes to the sewerage and the frog will be set free. But i am wondering how or why did the frog made a home in your toilet. I dont know the condition of your toilet but normally toilet not properly cleaned or sanitized usually attracts or is homed by insects or easily accumulated molds and bacterias. As much as possible keep your toilet clean and well ventilated dirty and damp areas are unhealthy.
this is one in a million! This sounds just as weird, call animal control. Or call and ask the vet what to do. Don't flush it, that would only bring harm. Oh,I don't know what to tell you to do. I'm sure your going to get allot of smart *** answers on this one. Stand your ground by protecting it. If this was a contest on who could baffle me the most, you would definitely win.Call the vet.I think that's the safest thing to do.
Try another toilet if you dont want to disturb the frog!
Get a fish net. Then get in behind it catch it then put it outside where there is water etc. You'll just have to be patient with it.

If you flush it chances are it will die and frogs are rapidly disappearing out there.
Gosh I hope you have immediate access to another toilet! Draino is the way forward. You can kiss the froggy goodbye and have nice unobstucted plumbing. Don't hesitate to contact FindHomeAnswerss if you have any other questions.
