Where can I buy a 100- Gallon LP (Propane) tank from?

Question:The local dealers will give you a tank but they either a) inflate their per-gallon price to cover it; b) charge you yearly rental fee or c) make you pay minimum usage charges if you don't use enough fuel.

I figure if I can get a tank for a few hundred $ I will save myself some aggravation over time.

Answers:
I went through this whole thing, and my gas company said that I could purchase my tank from them. It was a reasonable rate compared to the rental fee for my low usage, and delivery fees. Now I only have to pay for actual gas usage. I think it is some kind of law about companies filling other tanks

Go to the propane dealer in your town or county. I would most likely get the amount which I desire and the Tank will be FREE from the provider.

WHY PAY OUT ! If it rusts or the valves go bad, the provider will take of it.
