What kind of berry has a five point star on the bottom of it? It's black. Im in Louisiana.?

Question:I was out picking blackberrys. My sister said she found a hucleberry tree. They were small berry on a bush with no stickers and the leaves were small green and some with a reddish tint. I ate one, it tasted great. I got home, looked at some hucleberry pictures on the net and it looked like they didnt have a star on the bottom, just a dot. What have I been eating? Thanks!

If there were blue/black...and have a start like shape it might have been blueberries. they kind of open up at the bottom and have a somewhat star formation. Other then that, I'm not sure. good luck!
