Roughly how much would it cost to build a 12x12 deck around a hot tub?

Question:I am looking to T-off a landing on an existing staircase I have on the back of the house that goes from the deck (which is 10' off the ground) to the ground. I want to T-off the landing towards the middle of the backyard, and then build a deck around a hot tub which will be there (hot tub is 7' x 7')

Deck should be flush with the top of the hot tub. I am using Pressure treated pine.

It's probably about 100 sq. feet of decking, plus the railings, stairs, and supports that I will need.

I live in Massachusetts if local prices matter.

Answers:
You will need about 30 2x6x12's plus your supports whether it's floating or poles in the ground, it's up to you. Then any railing. using pressure treated 2.6's saves money over deckboards. You are probably looking at around 1000.00 for a job done correctly with a nice railing and maybe some benches.

depending on the cost of the wood $300-$1,000,000 without the cost of installation
The carpenter will go by the overall size of the deck, not the amount of wood used, due to the cuts. Pricing ranges from $10 to $16 per square foot installed.
