A year ago I stuck a rubber-backed mat to an office-type carpet in my porch with cheap double-sided tape.?

Question:it didn't stick to the rubber, only the carpet.Any ideas for removing it without damaging the carpet?(I rent the flat !)

Answers:
This really works. Buy a large bottle of Soda Water. Start by dabbing the area with a clean uncoloured cloth soaked with the soda water until the area is quite damp. Leave for about half an hour. Repeat the process this time using a gentle scrubbing motion. The rubber marks will lift. Finish by cleaning the area down with luke warm clean water and leave to dry. prepare to be wowed.

Leave it there - it will be better than what you leave behind!!
Leave the mat
