How to get rid of the lizards in the house?

Question:

Answers:
I agree. They are harmless. Usually, by the time you notice them, they've been watching YOU for days ! Relax...they may eat the very mosquito that could give you West Nile Virus or malaria.

There is no permanent solution.
One effective solution that lasts about six months is to paint /whitewash the house . Follow this up with a pest control treatment . It has been efective to me. If it is a old house with lot of things crammed, you need to decongest.
Why dont u start loving them ? they are harmless creatures and control mosquitoes also !
It is a common occurrence in florida to have lizards get in. You should not leave doors standing open, but sometimes they will sneak in anyway. I don't want to kill them so I find a small face size towel or a washcloth will do. Knock the lizard to the floor if it is not already there and gently throw the cloth over it. Then you can gently pick it up and return it outside to its native habitat. The lizard will thank you even though it may be so low that you don't hear it LOL.
Asking how to get rid of the 'zards is kinda like asking how to get rid of the pest-control guy -why wouldja wanna do that? They are kind of ornamental, actually, harmless to you, and they eat up all the bugs that otherwise would have you coming here asking how to get rid of bugs. Geesh!
