How do I get plants to flower in the house?

Question:Haven't had much luck with plants flowering indoors except with African Violets.

Answers:
Some plants need fertilizers developed specially for flowering. Most stores with garden sections will carry this type of fertilizer. This will also work with flowering herbs too. My wife accidentally fertilized our basil with this stuff and now we have flowering basil instead of a leafy herb!

Critical things to consider:

soil

humidity

environmental factors

sun light

insects

pets
