The best home rememdy for ant repellant?
Question:I need a sure fire non-toxic home remedy to get rid of ants and spiders like some kind of fruit ,root, mixture of herbs or something

Don't know about spiders,but for ants the sure-fire remedy is Semolina. Semolina you should get from a food store or natural foods shop. Put the semolina into jam jar lids.Leave around your house. Ants love the taste,take it back to nest,but can't digest it,so they all die.Talcum powder they hate to. Scatter a nice smelly one around,and they will steer clear of it.Spiders do good in a house,ants don't. Good Luck!

i have a 4 yr old and i dont like using chemicals i use vinegar soap water to kill ants when i see them i drown them in it ha ha. i also read that they dont like cucumbers and you can make a wall with cucumber peels i dont know how well that will work i readt that these 6 oils will kill spiders and other insects on contact but have never tried any of it Rose oil
