Trees=dornment in winter?

Question:wildflower dornment in winter??
since trees go dornment in the winter time, do flowers, wildflowers, shrubs go dornment too??

Answers:
Yes in colder climates.

In the tropics trees & shrubs stay green all year.
Some trees have flowers on them all year. I just visited the tropics and saw and planted some everbearing {has fruit all year} cherry trees.

Depends* on what it is & where . Why do you ask , & what specifically are you asking about .

* Alex Shigo ( U of N.H.) has found that trees never really go completely dormant , even in a climate such as New Hampshire's .
