What kind of plant should I grow in an aquatic garden vase?

Question:I'd like a hardy plant & I plan on putting my betta fish in the bottom.

Answers:
a peace lily looks nice. make sure all the dirt is off the root of the plant. get a vase that has a small enough neck so that it holds the plant from sinking to the bottom and gives the fish room. be sure to feed the fish because it can't live off the plant.

Hardy refers to tolerance to cold in the plant world. I don't think your fish will like that. . . . probably die quick. So what do you mean, hardy? Something that the fish will not eat? How large is the vase? You gonna put the fish in the bottom. Bottom of what? Another vase. Don't the fish move about? What is going to keep them in the bottom?
