Yikes! Centipedes!! Aaaauuugh! How do I get rid of them?
Question:For thr past few weeks, I have been sighting centipedes in our gameroom and basement. I see one speed by about once every 2 days, but they always run behind a shelf or bookcase before I can catch & squish them. They freak me out <<<shiver>>>, they are about 2 inches long. I sprayed that Ortho Home Defense stuff around the house. We now have no more spiders, but it didn't seem to affect the centipedes. I bought the Ortho stuff last year. Could it have expired? Is there something else I have to do to get rid of them? I have 3 dogs, so I need something that won't hurt them. Please help! Thanks in advance guys!

EWWWW, i loathe them too, next to cockroaches, why not buy an ultra mega strong insecticide to get rid of it! or ask for help at your local pest control.
Call the Terminix man or the Orkin man & have him come out to spray & powder. Don't waste your money on store bought stuff, make the phone call soon. The spray & powders the Terminix man uses is not strong smelling nor will it harm your dogs. The Terminix/Orkin man will spray inside & out. If you spot anymore critters after he sprays, call him & he'll come back. The price isn't bad at all & you can be put on a regularly scheduled home visit plan as well. Gee, I sound like a commercial don't I? lol
use the sticky mice traps
Just tell them to go out off.
try spraying raid around the base boards of your gameroom and basement.
