How long does a home inspection usually last?

Question:When you sell your house..you have to have your house inspected..so how long does it usually take?

Thanks =]

Answers:
Usually its the buyer who is having the inspection done and it isn't mandatory (a good idea though). I used to sell real estate for a living and most inspections took about and hour and a half. Obviously the bigger the house or the older the house are can add to this time but I've never had one last more than two hours.

Good luck on your sale!

If the inspector is competent about 2-3 hours.
It depends on the size of the house. It may take an hour or more...
