Does anyone know how much is it to clean the coil in your central unit.?

Please dont pressure wash.unless you want your coil fins to be bent and smashed. A standard hose and nozzle will do just fine. Some condensors(outdoor unit) have two rows of coils so, to most effectively clean the condensor, the top should be removed off the unit, 5/16" screws you can spray from the top downwards and push the dirt and debris out, if its really dirty try some coil cleaner if you can find it. Dont forget to turn the power off first!
do it yourself its easy. Just rent a power washer and a gallon of coil cleaner for about $40 bucks.
You should be able to take the top cover off of your unit. When you do, and you look straight down to the bottom, around the edges there are some coils...it looks kinda like a radiator or the back of a window ac unit. Usually places that sell air conditioners should have a can of stuff that you spray in between the coils and it expands and forces all the junk that got caught between the coils out and will make your unit run more efficiently. I have just sprayed it out with a water hose though..
