Try this and you will be giving me 10 points for the best answer! Suspend a bag of water in the room you want to get rid of the flies. No Joke! They get scared ****less and don't want any part of it for some reason. Use like a plastic bag (like the kind you get from a pet store to carry your new goldfish in...) fill it with water, cinch it at the top and tie a rubberband around it, use a hole punch at the top the the bag to tie a string or fishing line through, and hang it..then presto.no more flies!
