How can I stop woodlice coming into the house?

Question:There are woodlice coming in under front door. Is there a repellant either natural or man made? They can't cause damage as we've marble floors and I'm relucant to kill them for no reason.

Answers:
Try and find exactly where they are coming in and try and plug up the hole.

Woodlice like damp places so are probably attracted by a small damp crevice in which they make their entrance. Try putting some silica gel sachets down near the place where they are coming in, they'll absorb the moisture that the woodlice are attracted to.

(*nb. the Silica gel sachets are those little white packets that coming in shoe boxes and new handbags etc - very effective for absorbing moisture!)

Failing that, I like the small woodlouse gunners ideas!

move house
have you tried putting a polite notice on the door asking them if they would go to your nearest neighbours house. if that doesn't work.. then kill them
put a platoon of earwig gunners on door ways that should stop them
Short of nuclear weapons there is very little that will get rid of them. You can use a spray or powder barrier for "crawling insects" like Raid around the doorway. That will keep them at bay - mostly.
Catch them, train them, begin a woodlice circus!
Napalm the bastards!
Maybe just try and put a layer of newspaper in the doorway and spray it with lemon water, or kitchen roll, its quite likely it will deter them.
