How do you get rid of ground hogs in your garden?
Question:Got any ideas about how to get rid of a ground hog in your backyard. No poison. No cage. Any other ideas. Something to get it to leave.

Well, my backyard was about 125 acres. We just shot 'em. No poison, no cage. They didn't really leave, but we kinda took 'em elsewhere.

I don't know, but we also have one in our backyard. My wife asked me to post this question not a half hour ago. It chewed off the tops of some of our broccoli plants and we have a three foot fence.

You could catch it and take it to a wildlife rescue center, or just keep an aggressive cat in your yard till the ground hog takes off. A dog might not be as good as a cat for frightening it away!
.22 rifle always worked for me if youre a pacifist try a garden hose down the entrance of there tunnel.
Plant a few rows of garlic around the edge of the garden, not many critters will touch it.
