How do I get rid of these gnats in my house?

gnats are rarely a house problem since they swarm at 4 to 20 feet. an only to mate at that. see if it really is gnats, sounds like mites.but use an aerial spray an drain sink water totally. leave no moisture for egg laying good luck. an remember, gnats bite.
set our a lid from a cool wip container and put alot of viniger and 2 drops of soap in it and se it on a counter and they will fly into it and die

Find where they're coming from. USUALLY they come from a drain like the one in your kitchen sink. They're attracted to the grease or food particles that end up in the drain, so try putting a drain cleaner (follow the directions so you don't accidentally splash that stuff in your eyes when you turn on the disposal) and see if that helps. If you eat summer fruits, try putting the rinds or pits into plastic grocery bags and tie them up before throwing them into the trash. Gnats love that stuff too!
sometimes they gather around the sink. use baking soda and pour it down the drain acouple of times a week is very inexpensive and should help.
