Peace Lily?

Question:I have had a few Peace Lillies over the years, but for some reason they keep dying on me. I'm normally successful with house plants but this one is stumping me! I've kept them in different places around the house, in the sunlight, in the shadows etc. But nothing is working. I really want to get one healthy as one was given to my son when he was born and I really want to replace it. if you can help, it would be much appreciated. thanx in advance x

I keep mine in the bathroom - it seems to love the steamy atmosphere. It is watered fairly regularly because we have a "teasmade" and any left over cooled water in the kettle is tipped into the pot daily. They shouldn't be allowed to dry out but don't like to sit with their feet in stagnant water.
I run the (cold) shower over it occasionally to dust the leaves.
Have never fed it - probably should have done - and it is in flower most of the year
P.S. The bathroom window is about 3 feet away and is West facing
