How do I get rid of Ants, they Keep coming into my Kitchen!! :0?
Question:I have been having a small Ant problem in my Kitchen.
Ants (about 5 or 10 or more) will come into my Kitchen, and Scout-around for Hours. More will come, if I don't kill them.
They appear to be looking for food. I try to keep my Kitchen Floor as clean as Possible, but they Keep Coming!!
It is Not a Serious problem, but every day, I find as many as 25 of them crawling around my Kitchen Floor.
Everything is Sealed: Walls, Doors, Everything!!
I have used Ant Bait of all Sorts!! It helps, but never permenantly gets rid of the Ants!! They keep coming!!
If someone has some Advice on this, it would Sure help!! :)
Thank You!!

There are a few things you can try...
Put chilli powder down round the outside of your house as the ants won't cross it.
Have a look for the nest and pour boiling water on it kill all the ants.
Put a jar outside with a little honey in it.They'll be 2busy with that to come in!
You can also mop the floor with about half liter of water mixed with two to three drops of lavender essential oil. That will keep away ants away too.
If ants enter the house from the windows, use chalk around the window frame. You will be amazed to see how they move away from any chalk lines!
get a pestcontroler,to spray around the house..
Killing is no way to get rid of them. After killing many more worker ants will come to carry the dead ants back. Even if you clean your floor, after killing they can trace a slightest traces of dead ant remains. The best way is divert them, keep some sweet things outdoors of your kitchen window. The ants will get attracted to that particular outdoor part.
Further, try to search closely from which outlet they are coming, sure if you don't kill them they will go back from the same opening & if you are successful in finding that, seal it with cement.
Use either liquid ammonia or powdered boric acid. Both will work great. If you do use the ammonia make sure there is a window open because the fumes could knock you out at first.
you can not get rid of them they keep coming back i have same problem as long as kitchen is clean and sugar is in fridge they don't have any food so they leave they do however drink from the sink. there is a gel you can try that works for a while but i do not know what it is called in English but ask at your drug store also bleach kills them if you wash the floor with it they don't like it . if you find where they live by following them back out side and put boiling water down the hole every day they get the message in the end and move out.
Try orange oil found at your garden center. It is organic and safe to use indoors.
Spray one portion of any liquid soap with 3 portion of water to where the are coming from including the path the are traveling on. Very economical and very effective.
