How do you get rid of a porcupine that has moved into your basement/garage?


Question:The porcupine is digging at the garage door to get in. The door is being ruined by this action, forcing the need to leave the door open for the porcupine to gain access to the garage. It may also be pregnant. If it has the baby in the garage, will it move out after the the birth?

Answers:
Call Animal control. We had a snapping turtle living in our backyard and laying eggs and they carefully dug up the eggs took away the mother and moved her to someplace safe.


VERY CAREFULLY!! Don't do it yourself. Call animal control, they have experience.
