I have an 800 gallon pool?

Question:15 ft across, 3 ft deep. I have a filter/pump. Is there a way to keep it clean using salt instead of chemicals? My grandchildren love to play in it (three 1 yr olds, one 3 yr old), but the chemicals make two of them break out.

Answers:
Yes, you can. My girlfriend has this same problem and she can only use salt pools. Her parents converted theirs for her a couple years ago. It wasn't that hard. You need to contact a pool supply house and ask them for the best mix and strength. I wish more pools where like this honestly, it's a lot nicer than chlorine.

Yes salt is better and cheaper and easier to keep up contact your pool store and they will advise you and train you on the use
oh yes! salt is a great solution! empty the pool and refill it with 6 cups of water at a time. fo each cup, take a pinch of salt and sprinkle it evenly over the water.
you'll need to do this 3,400,687 times, but hurry! on a hot day this could take even longer taking evaporation into account!
