Please help me with my pool!!!?
Question:It had a tint of green to it so i put the clorine in and waited and it still was the same so i shocked it and now it's cloudy what am i not doing or doing wrong?

The best thing is to have a filtering system. If the water is cloudy you can buy a clarifier for the water. To get rid of the algae use a higher concentration of algae killer. I use something called "Black Algacide" With your pool it won't take much.
Your local pool dealer should be able to provide you with a free analysis of your pool water. Just take them a couple of cups of the water in a plastic container.
For an ongoing green free pool, the product Phosfree, applied weekly, has done the trick for me.
Call a pool company and have them take a look, but dont keep shocking it because you can damage your pool liner
That tint of green is algae, and the chlorine/shock should kill most of it off. If not properly or often cleaned, algae will start to accumulate on the sides and bottom of the pool. I would recommend getting a brush and sweeping the algae to the bottom flat surfaces of the pool, then get your vacuum (the one that plugs into the skimmers) and start cleaning up the brushed algae on the bottom after it has accumulated there over night. Be sure to backwash your pumps a little bit too if you have excessive amount of algae. Good luck!
Eeeew! When I read your headline it looked like "please help me with my poo". Sorry, but I don't have an answer.
You messed up the pool with chemicals
