Question:I use dish soap and laundry soap to mop my floor can I pour out the soapy water on my lawn?
Answers:
They used to say it killed the grass by doing so but try pouring it on the base of your trees & bushes. The phosophorous works great on them. I use Dawn dish soap & water at the base of my rise bushes, saga palms, & other palm trees. They look great & are really growing well.
y would u be mopping your lawn
I pour it out on my lawn. I have always assumed it is ok. So my answer is yes. :)
I think it would kill your grass. You shouldn't.

I don't see a problem with this if your just using dish soap.
It would be OK as long as you dilute it after with clear water. Soaps can be used as an insecticide.
No! It will harm the grass form growing and it will dry out because of all the cehmicals that are found in soap. The chemicals will burn the grass and make it dry out.

Toss in a Ditch
I do the soap will kill the insects in the lawn.I use a lawn @ garden sprayer.
detergents trickle down to the nearest water way, whether it be a sewer or drainage system or stream, and mix in with the other toxins stupid, selfish and lazy people dump into our earth, and just add to the poisons that kill fish and plants, water fowl, etc.
Just about anything safe to put down your drain isn,t going to hurt your lawn, especially as diluted as the mop water is. At least you are getting two benefits from one commodity. The amount of bad stuff in the cleaning agents doesn't amount to much at all.
NO! I t will kill the grass and Bad for the envir. All the chemicals will go to the ground and wash later into the water Table at some point , NOT a good idea... Yhrow it down the sewer and will be properly processed at the sewer Plant!
I've poored soapy water on the grass before and it doesn't hurt anything.
