Does anyone else have a problem with the shower curtain creeping in on them?
Question:I was taking a shower the other day and it kept creepign in on me. I would push it back out and it would just come right back in. It was even stuck to me @ one point. After a couple times I opened the end of the curtain a little, but I really hate when that happens. Why does it do that and how do I get it to stop? I'm thinking it has something to do with the flow of air.

Hey, you just discovered the first law of thermal dynamics. The inside of your shower is hot. the ambient room temperature is colder thus the cooler air is forcing its way into the shower pushing in the shower curtain towards you. Most shower curtains have small magnets built into the bottom for this reason. Go buy some more powerful magnets and place them around the bottom of the shower curtain. If you have a fiberglass shower or tub this wont work and im stumped
get a heavier curtain. i had the same problem. but to answer your question about the air flow thing. this is my conclusion.
when you take a shower you usually use warm water. and then the air around you in the shower gets warm and it rises. the air in the bathroom is cooler. so when the warmer air rises the cooler air tries to fill in.
hope that made sense.
The hot warmer air is rising. It pulls cooler air in the bottom moving in the curtain. Get a heavier grade of curtain. A light weight silky type curtain is more apt to be affected by the vacuum created by the lifting warm air.
