We all do , where else would you keep that odd battery,that one bootlace, that pretty foreign stamp ,that postcard you don't want to bin, that old key, that piece of jigsaw puzzle 'cos the box is in the attic,that address on the back of the envelope from New Zealand you couldn't be bothered to put in the address book,that valve top from an old bicycle,that old passport duplicate photo,tht old mobile phone that will be 'retro' one day,the box of staples for a long lost stapler,the receipt from your married daughters first bike,the fountain pen you can't get nibs for anymore,the spare button from 'Next',the three pencil sharpeners ,the old cigarette lighter that meant so much when he/she gave it to you,'that'concert ticket,57 paper clips and that keyring that will be useful one day !! Or maybe I'm unique ?

No. I believe everything has its right place and that is where it should be. If I can't think of where it should go, I throw it out
I have got 3 in my kitchen I chuck stuff in them when I dont know what else to do with it then I have to clear them out because there is no room in them for anything else

yep one in the kitchen, anything and everything goes in there if i dont want to throw it away..clean it out every few months and am amazed at wat iv kept and end up throwing it out in the end i aways think something mite come in handy but rarely does lol.
That would be my stairs, top of my chest of drawers then my bin when I can't find space for them. I don't have space in my kitchen drawers!

Our entire house is one big knick knack drawer, I'm afraid. And the most interesting thing in it is the cat. Her name is Hoshi. At the moment she is curled up asleep on top of some discarded bubblewrap in an old Amazon cardboard box.
No. That will be totally irresponsible. All drawers are marked thus: UBD1, TFLD1 etc. That is Upper bedroom drawer 1, Top floor left drawer 1,2 etc. Get me. And socks are neatly folded in pairs and put in say UBD1a or UBD2b (no thats for pants and hankies. And so on till you get to the SD1, 2, 0r 3 , where stationary is kept. Like pens and pencils(labelled P1, P2 etc) and all arranged in neat rows. Ha ha ha ha ha !

Oh yeah, the Junk Drawer in the kitchen, it's got everything from old photos to dead batteries, spare change, bottle openers, gift cards etc... when I was a kid as punishment my mom would make me clean the damn thing out. Only had to clean it out 3 times in the 20 years I lived there. So it's still the kitchen junk drawer.
